iOS 8.4. Apple Music?

So, what do we think?
Are any of you having issues with this upgrade?
These that have not upgraded, and don't care to try Apple music might wait for iOS 9, if you hate upgrading.
So far, I have not had any issues, and like Apple Music.
I've not been able to figure out how to make it work in iTunes yet on a PC, but on the iPhone, it rocks.

Yeah, it apparently majorly sucks on iTunes at present, but is perfectly accessible on iOS. The only issue that I'm having with it is that I can't seem to unfollow the artists I actually don't want to see. Including some whose songs were actually purchased before this streaming service went live, and who apple made me follow regardless just because I had bought a song or two of theirs in the past.

Yes, it decides for you, but you will fix that. Smile.
Here is my thoughts on iTunes with the addition of Apple music for PC.
If you aren’t going to want to use Apple music, I’d not upgrade.
This is especially true for you that hate the changes iTunes goes through and you’ve just learned the one you have.
For the rest, it is accessible, and works well,
It is iTunes however, and works like iTunes works, if that makes sense?
It will require you to look around, and a slight learning curve, but the controls are iTunes.
You will find that other competing music services web players, and such are easier to work, but if you want all your stuff in iTunes, you can have it.
I am running the latest version of Jaws, so I can’t say how it will be with other versions, or screen readers. I’ve not tested them yet.
The new section is nice, and you can play the complete albums, add them to your library, mark them as not liked, or purchase the complete album, or songs.
It is fully functional.
There are other sections as well, and to open them, you check them just like you would My Music.

I forgot to Minchin.
In the new station Beats 1, you have different type of music that can be selected.
Example, if you like R and B, you can choose this and hear the interviews, type of music, and such.
The type buttons are not labeled, so it is a gamble to find the one you like.
Maybe someone will label these soon.
So, I have to retract my fully functional statement.
It works, you just have to go through lots of finding. Lol

I really like Apple Music. It blows other streaming services out of the water
accessibility-wise as far as I'm concerned, both under iOS and mac. I haven't
tried it under Windows yet.
I'm not sure about unfollowing artists, but you can certainly turn off
Connections altogether if you want to.

There is a way to edit it by going in to the "my account" menu. Would have to play around again to figure it out.

I think other services are easier actually, or easier accessible.
Tidal is one.
It is easier to find the new albums, or music.
I do like Apple music, but for competing services, it is a bit complicated for average users.
My opinion.

I am glad to see a few others then me like it though.
Usually, I'm the lone man out. Lol

I haven't signed up for the full service, but I'm enjoying Beats 1 & Apple Music Radio so far.

I love it I already have canceled Spotify

iTunes released a minor update.
This fixes that labeling issue I talked about.
Nothing else seems to have changed as far as accessibility goes.
Enjoy your tunes.

I'm loving apple music too. I've used it flawlessly on my iPad and iPhone,
haven't gotten around to playing with it on my Mac yet.I wasn't even going to
sign up, but after hearing such rave reviews about it, I gave in. Now I've got to
decide if I want to continue paying for it after the 3 month trial is over, grins.
Probably will.

I love it to death, but haven't really used it on my mac yet, only on my iPhone.
I've created a decent sized playlist that I really wish I could burn to disc, sense
I won't be paying for it after my trial is over, sense I unfortunately don't have
the $10 a month to pay for it, but will enjoy the heck out of it in the meantime.

I like it a lot. More often than I'd expect, a song I choose doesn't start playing, or I get a Resource Not Found message. That is disconcerting, but 80 to 90 percent of the time it works as expected. I like it. Not sure if I will ultimately switch to it over other options, but it is a distinct possibility.

I’m still up in the air as to what I think of the service itself.
The competition’s really tight, and each has its pros and cons.
As far as accessibility goes, I think Tidal is easier. Next would be Apple music, on the iPhone.
In iTunes on a PC, it is a bit harder than other services, but is accessible.
Other services have clients, but these aren’t vary screen reader friendly, but their web pages work easier then iTunes.
As to sound, Tidal has everyone beat, depending on the track, or quality of recording the music was done in, but that cost 10 more per month to get it.
I’m sort of thinking about splitting my Tidal money and having both services at the sound quality that Apple gives, because of what both have.
The others I like, but not as well.
Apple has the edge on them all accept Xbox, and Google music, because you can buy what you are listening to directly in the store, and I like that feature.
I don’t like Google music at all, so Xbox and Apple rate for me.
If Tidal had the store, I’d say they were best, but they don’t.
Guess I’ve got 3 months to decide.
Decisions, decisions.
Smile.

I got rid of Spotify. That's how much I like Apple Music.

Post 17 by Leafs Fan (I'll have the last word, thank you!) on Thursday, 16-Jul-2015 8:40:34

I cancelled Spotify right on the spot, as it were. LOL To me it is between Apple Music and Deezer. I love both and may keep both for a while. A fool and his money right?

I learned pretty quickly to despise spottify; they played all the same stuff over
and over, and I got tired of it fast.
Something I find interesting though, is when I asked someone from the church
I go to where the background music they play when people are coming
in/leaving, someone eventually told me it was a station they play through
spottify, which they've payed for as opposed to when I had it, which plays a
wider variety, so not sure if that has something to do with it, or what the deal
there is, but I rarely hear the same thing repeatedly, and have heard some
things I loved so much I came home and tried to find them again.

Don't forget that apple music is barely a month old as things presently stand. Yes Beta testers have had access to the revamped music ap for longer than a month, but not the streaming service itself. There are bound to be a few minor bugs and/or accessibility issues. the important thing is reporting them to apple so that they can be addressed. I'm sure that even just when iOS 9 comes out, we will be seeing several new nice changes.

If you have a premium, or subscritption to Spotify, you get better options, or variety.

I personally am perfectly fine with iTunes To adio, but if I get an iPhone, I'll likely get something like iHeartRadio or Pandora or even Slacker. Because I used it on a device that was not mine, and liked it.
